What Does Our Service Look Like?
Beauty
At Redeemer, we have chosen to treasure the very best and most beautiful words and music passed down to us from our fathers and mothers in the Christian Faith. In our service, we practice what is often called the “historic liturgy.”
Heritage
Much of our service has roots in the practices from churches nearly 2000 years old and directly quotes or paraphrases passages from the Bible. God’s Word has been the foundation of Christian worship from the very beginning of Creation; it remains so for us today in our corner of North Dakota.
“We have chosen to treasure the most beautiful words and music passed down to us.”
Worship Together
Listen to readings from the Holy Bible, followed by a deeper exploration of the biblical text in the sermon. Sing hymns of praise both ancient and new. Recognize the beauty and reverence of worshiping the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You Are Welcome
Much of our service may seem strange or even outdated, so please ask questions! We continue these traditions, not arbitrarily, but to help focus on Christ in everything we say and do.
